CHENNAI: India scored 357 runs for the loss of seven wickets against Sri Lanka in the World Cup match held at the Wankhede stadium on Thursday.

Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer made valuable fifties, but were unable to convert it to triple figures.

Sri Lanka needs 358 runs to win the contest.
