Chennaiyin FC in the initial rounds faced several setbacks and the worst came in the mid-season with three consecutive defeats. Most of the experts wrote off Chennaiyin FC and said that the team won’t even enter the semis. Materazi’s boys managed to turn the situation by their excellent show and change in strategy in the later matches. In the semi-final clash with Atletico De Kolkata, the Chennaiyin FC lost the match, but managed to move into the finals with the help of goal aggregate of past matches. 

Chennaiyin have won 8 matches from their 16outings so far but the most important one awaits them on Sunday against Zico’s FC Goa. So, it is going be fun on weekend for the football lovers in the southern metro and all other reality specials on TVs are unlikely to get the usual viewership.
