Bowling first, right-arm medium pacer Archan destroyed Tamil Nadu, getting a six-wicket haul to bowl it out for a paltry 103.

In reply, Baroda was 203 for nine at stumps, taking a 100-run lead with a wicket in hand. AMohammed Tibiyan (4/44) and H Prashid Akash (4/46) bagged four wickets each for Tamil Nadu and brought the side back intothe contest.

Brief scores: Tamil Nadu 103 all-out in 25.5 overs (Pradosh Ranjan Paul 26, RS Mokit Hariharan 38, Archan Kothari 6/36, Ashutosh Das 3/34) vs Baroda 203 for 9 in 56.2 overs (Atharv Karulkar 68, Kush Marathe 35, Praikshit Patidar 37*, A Mohammed Tibiyan 4/44, H Prashid Akash 4/46).
