Batting first, Madhya Pradesh managed 232 off its stipulated overs, thanks to meaningful contributions from Ankush Tyagi (49) and Atul Kushwaha (52 not out). Rahul and RS Jaganath Sinivas (3/47) were top-notch with the ball for Tamil Nadu, scalping four and three respectively.

Chasing less than five runs an over, Tamil Nadu scampered to its target after losing nine wickets. No.10 batsman Rahul smashed two sixes off the first two deliveries of the final over to take his side past the finish line.
