Tabu steals the show in Fitoor trailer

The much awaited trailer of director Abhishek Kapoor’s upcoming romantic Hindi drama, Fitoor , was finally unveiled

The two-and-a-half-minute trailer of the film set in mystic Kashmir is magical to say the least. From the dialogues to the costumes to the music, the film based on Charles Dickens’ popular novel Great Expectations , seems to have everything in place.

Starring Aditya Roy Kapur, Katrina Kaif and Tabu, the film is an intense love story between Firdaus (Katrina) and Noor (Aditya). While Aditya and Katrina make for a scorching pair, it is Tabu, as the formidable and terrifying Begum Hazrat (Katrina’s mother), who takes the cake.

The seasoned performer’s menacing look and sheer brilliance seems to have overshadowed the love story between the lead pair Aditya and Katrina, about which the film is centred. Apart from the lead actors, Kashmir is a character in itself in the film. This Kashmir is quite different, cold, much like the cold vibes between its lead characters. Fitoor is scheduled to release on February 12
