J and K Police recovers ammunition from residential property

The recovered incriminating material has been seized and taken into records for the purpose of investigation. The matter is being further investigated.

Acting on a credible input the J&K Police carried out searches in Bongam area of Shopian and recovered ammunition from a residential property, south Kashmir.

During the search, the police recovered incriminating materials including ammunition from the house of an individual identified as Naseeer Ahmad Mantoo.

"An FIR has been registered under relevant sections of law at Shopian Police Station," police said.

The recovered incriminating material has been seized and taken into records for the purpose of investigation. The matter is being further investigated.
