According to the police, Jayachandran (22) was running a factory manufacturing nuts and bolts in Chennai. He had started a new factory in Pakkam village and rented a house at Vadamangalam.

When company supervisor Sabari visited the new factory with a few articles on Friday, he found it to be locked. He then went to Jayachandranan’s house at Vadamangalam. When there was no response despite ringing the doorbell, he peeped through the window to allegedly find Jayachandran hanging from a ceiling fan. Sabari informed the incident to Villianur police who took the body and sent it for post-mortem. Meanwhile, Nagappan (52), a tea-shop owner at Iyyankuttipalayam here, allegedly committed suicide on Friday by hanging at his house.
