Huge consignment of charas seized near Indo-Nepal border

Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) jawans seized huge consignment of charas worth nearly Rs 3.60 crore in the international market and arrested a peddler near Indo-Nepal border under Bhangha police station area in West Champaran district.

SSB Assistant Commandant Anjay Kumar Rajak said that 18 kgs of charas were seized when the peddler identified as Anil Faudar, a native of Nepal's Parsa district was intercepted near Pachrauta border outpost by jawans. He said the peddler was carrying the consignment on a motorcycle from Nepal.  

An intensive interrogation of smuggler is on to nab other members of his gang, police added.
