President Ram Nath Kovind along with his wife hosted a special dinner for his US counterpart Donald Trump and The First Lady at 7.30 pm last night. Trump's wife and First Lady of the US Melania Trump and daughter Ivanka Trump were also present at the special dinner, which was hosted at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi.

A widespread menu offering exotic Indian vegetarian and non-vegetarian delicacies was specially curated for the banquet dinner. Though the menu boasts Indian delicacies, media reports suggest that the American taste was kept in mind.

The dinner started with cajun spiced salmon, aloo tikki and a variety of soups. Orange peel panna cotta, was also found in the menu.

As for the main course, Rashtrapati Bhavan's famous Dal Raisina was there. Considering Donald Trump's fondness for meat, there was lamb biryani and a lamb raan dish. He was also served with dum guchchi matar and mint raita.

For the desserts, the US President and his family relished hazelnut-apple pire with salty caramel sauce and malpua-rabdi roll.
