Party sources said the notices had been served on the six office bearers to explain their stand within a fortnight failing which further action would be taken against them.

The six office bearers had come out in support of Kirti Azad who had allegedly  defied the central leadership and labelled serious allegations against Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in connection with the alleged DDCA scam.

District vice-presidents Vinod Kumar Mishra and Shivaji Yadav besides general secretary Arun Singh were among the six office bearers who have been suspended.
