Police arrested B Senthil Kumar, of Satyavanimurthy Nagar, Pulianthope following a complaint from Rashique Ali (42), who runs Somasundaram Transports at Elephant Gate. According to Ali, he had kept cables worth Rs 25,000 at the transport office on Sunday before locking it up and leaving for home. When he opened the company on Monday, the cables were missing. He lodged a complaint with the Elephant Gate police. They collected the CCTV footages and found a person taking the cables away in an auto. Police traced the man using the registration number of the auto and arrested him. They also recovered the cables.
