Three held for robbery in Tirumullaivoyal

The Tirumullaivoyal police have arrested three persons for robbing a pedestrian at knifepoint.

The accused were identified as D Yesupatham (21), B Gunaseelan (19), and S Vijay (18) of Tirumullaivoyal, while a hunt has been launched for their accomplice Kaviyarasu. The four-member gang intercepted Kiran Kumar (33) of Tirumullaivoyal at Murugappa Colony junction on Saturday night and robbed him of Rs 5,000 at knifepoint. Based on his complaint on Sunday morning, the police traced the suspects within hours and remanded them on Sunday.
