Techie husband stabs Customs Dy Commissioner

A 32-year-old woman Customs official was stabbed by her techie husband, who was allegedly under the influence of alcohol, at their house in Koyambedu.

The victim, S Sharmila, is a Deputy Commissioner posted at the Chennai airport, while her husband S Selvamuthu Kumaran (32) is a tech consultant at an MNC. Police said Selvamuthu objected to Sharmila’s plan to attend a relative’s wedding, which led to a quarrel.
