Srinivas takes charge as Station Director of Madras Atomic Power Station

Outstanding Scientist M Srinivas took charge as Station Director of Madras Atomic Power Station, Kalpakkam, here on Friday.

A press release from PIB said that prior to this, Srinivas was the Station Director of Rajasthan Atomic Power Station Units-5 & 6.


A Chemical Engineer, MSrinivas has more than 34years of experience in nuclearindustry in the areas of commissioning, operation and maintenance of Nuclear Power Plants. Besides Madras Atomic Power Station, he has served in other Indian nuclear power stations such as the Kaiga Generating Station Units-1 and 2, Units-3 and 4 and Rajasthan Atomic Power Station Units-5 and 6.


The incumbent Station Director, R Satyanarayana, has been transferred to Kaiga Site as Site Director, the release added.
