An anticipatory bail plea filed by actor Simbu aka Silambarasan in the controversial Beep Song case will once again come up for hearing before Justice Rajendran in the Madras High Court on Monday afternoon.

The petition, filed by the actor in response to two criminal cases that were registered by the Coimbatore police and Cyber Crime cell of the Chennai police, against the actor was heard on December 21 in the Madras High Court.

At that time, Justice Rajendran had refused to issue an interim stay on the actor’s arrest as the public prosecutor had raised objections on the bail plea. The Justice had postponed the hearing of the plea to January 4.

The actor has been embroiled in the controversy surrounding the Beep Song, allegedly belted out by him, for more than a month now.
