Sacked woman staffer kills employer’s son for revenge

In a sheer act of revenge for sacking her, a 24-year-old woman strangulated the 3-year-old son of a mobile shop owner to death here on Saturday.

Sources said, Rosline Bakya (24) of Palakkarai was working in a mobile shop that was run by Lakshmi Prabha of Doraisamipuram, Palakkarai.

Rosline, who was also well acquainted with her owner’s family, used to visit the house of Lakshmi Prabha at times and used to play with her three-year-old son, Shrish.

However, Lakshmi Prabha recently dismissed Roseline from the job at her shop due to some personal reasons. Angered by her sudden termination, Rosline on Saturday evening went to Lakshmi Prabha’s house of and allegedly strangulated the little boy to death.

Later, she surrendered before the Palakkarai police. A case has been registered and further investigations are on.
