Retd DGP and IAS officer Beela Rajesh’s father LN Venkatesan passes away

Retired DGP and senior IAS officer Beela Rajesh’s father LN Venkatesan died on Sunday. He was 82.

Venkatesan belonged to 1962 batch, and died due to health problems at his house in Kottivakkam, said a communication from the State police. He is the husband of Rani Venkatesan, former MLA of Sathankulam constituency. He is survived by three children, including Commercial Taxes and Registration Department secretary Beela Rajesh. His son lives in the US while another daughter is in Dubai.
