Rainwater mixed with sewage enters Chromepet GH

Rainwater mixed with sewage entered the women’s ward in the Chromepet Government Hospital on Wednesday.

As many as 15 women were admitted at the ward then. Bystanders and patients got into heated arguments with the hospital staff over the stink and they were shifted to the first floor. Residents of the area said that this is not the first time the rainwater has entered the hospital. It was alleged that their complaints were met with official apathy.
