Private company employee dies in accident as bike rams into load van near Poonamallee

Reports stated, Boobalan got trapped under the rear wheel of the van, sustaining severe head injuries and died on the spot.

CHENNAI: A private company employee died after his motorcycle rammed into a load van near Poonamallee High Road, as reported by Daily Thanthi.

The deceased, identified as Boobalan (24) from MMDA colony in Vinayakapuram, Chennai was working in a private company.

The incident occurred on Wednesday night as Boobalan was returning home after finishing work when a load van collided with his motorcycle near Nerkundram area on Poonamallee High Road.

Reports stated, Boobalan got trapped under the rear wheel of the van, sustaining severe head injuries and died on the spot.

Koyambedu traffic investigation police arrived at the accident spot, retrieved Boobalan's body, and sent it to the Kilpauk Government Hospital for postmortem.

A search is underway to nab the van driver by using CCTV camera footage.
