Photo walk to capture the breathtaking seascapes of Chennai

Seascape photography is the kind that is considered to be a separate genre of photography.

City’s photographers’ forum Madras Photo Bloggers will be holding an experiential workshop on the subject of seascape photography.

Participants will get to walk along with experts, try their hands at ‘do it yourself’ practical exercises and capture some shots. The Madras Photo Bloggers’ team, led by photographer Srivatsan Sankaran, will demonstrate the many creative ways in which one can use their camera’s settings to create seascape images.


Besides the hands-on workshop, there will also be an on-spot photo contest at the end of the photo walk. Shutterbugs will be given a theme and a set of rules. The workshop and the contest will be held on February 1 on Elliot’s Beach in Besant Nagar from 5 am onwards. Contact 95661 31356 for more details.
