Dr A Mangai, popular theatre activist and visiting Professor, Centre  for the study of Law and Governance, JNU, New Delhi, will speak on the topic at the seminar to be held at the MSSRF campus. Stating that women empowerment continues to be the main part of MSSRF’s efforts in addressing challenges of sustainable and equitable development, an official release said multiple strategies were necessary to reach the set goal.

“Our ‘Voicing Silence’ programme focussed on raising gender consciousness as a strategy to take connected actions at individual and collective levels, and Women’s Day is seen as an opportunity to gain more understanding on how theatre can be effective in the journey towards gender parity,” the release added.
