Thousand lights MLA Ku Ka Selvam said his expulsion from the party portents many people quitting DMK. He complained that the grounds of his expulsion is baseless.

Wresting confidence in his credentials and track record he said his victory is certain if he contests again in Thousand Lights constituency. He is awaiting a ticket from other parties.

Criticizing his former party, Selvam said that DMK lacked even the courtesy to get back to him after his explanation to the show cause notice and that he is happy getting expelled from such a party.

He said DMK by expelling him has murdered democracy.
