The missing man, identified as K Danusanth, boarded an Indigo flight from Colombo to Bangalore and to Chennai from there on July 27. The police said that he had contacted his mother Kirubai Rani after he landed in Chennai airport. But his mobile phone has been switched off since then.

Kirubai Rani had contacted all their relatives and friends in Chennai, but no one knows Danusanth’s whereabouts. A few days ago, she came to Chennai in search of her son. As she, with the help of friends and relatives, could not find any leads about Danusanth, she filed a man missing complaint at the airport police station on Tuesday.

The police have registered a case and are browsing through the CCTV footages in and around the airport to see what happened to Danusanth. They are also investigatiing his background.
