Kolathur heist: 1 held in Jodhpur

Dinesh Chowdry, one of the two main suspects in the Kolathur jewellery shop heist case was nabbed in Jodhpur by Rajasthan police on Thursday, police sources said here.

A day earlier, inspector S Periyapandian was shot dead in Pali district when he, along with four others went to arrest Chowdry’s associate Nathuram, who is absconding. Both were wanted for burglary of 3.5 kg gold, silver and cash from a jewellery shop in Kolathur on November 16. They had drilled a hole in the roof of the shop.
