Kodambakkam leads in most number of active cases

Among the 15 zones, Kodambakkam has the highest number of active cases and also ranks lowest in recovery rate.

The Greater Chennai Corporation has released its daily bulletin on the city's fight against COVID-19. According to data from the civic body, Kodambakkam zone had the most number of corona positive patients seeking treatment and also suffered from a low recovery rate of 74%.

Chennai reported 15,606 active cases as of Thursday. Kodambakkam remained at top with 2,219 people under treatment followed by Anna Nagar (1,574) and Teynampet (1,477).
