Veteran actor and politician convened a meet with his Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) district secretaries on Monday.

Office-bearers from Coimbatore, Nilgiri, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Dharmapuri, Krishnagiri, Cuddalore, Mayiladuthurai, Nagapattinam, Pudukottai, Kanchipuram, Chengalpet and Thoothukudi.

The meeting was three-phased, morning, noon and evening. This arrangement may apparently be for discussing with secretaries of districts of three different zones in Tamil Nadu.

Also, ground report was sought from Kamal on how his party is being received in these districts.

Makkal Needhi Maiam put up a pretty decent show in last year's Lok Sabha elections polling three to five percent on average.

Meanwhile, politicians like Seeman and some twitteratis alleged that the actor is using Bigg Boss platform for his political interests.

On the film front, Kamal is uniting with 'Master' director Lokesh Kanagaraj, which is planned for a summer 2021 release.
