CHENNAI: In Chennai today, the price of gold decreased by Rs 280 per sovereign and is now sold at Rs 54,680.

One gram of gold is sold Rs. 6,835.

Silver prices remain unchanged at Rs 90 per gram.

The price of gold, which peaked at Rs 54,960 on April 16, has slightly changed today.
