In a representation to the chief minister’s special cell on December 16, S. Arumainathan, president of the Association said that numerous parents have brought it to the notice of the association that several private schools in the flood affected districts want parents to pay their child’s fee immediately.

“Students and their parents in the flood devastated districts are affected financially and psychologically, so pressing them to pay fees immediately will only affect them further. CM should direct schools to let parents pay fees before the end of the academic year,” the representa¬ion stated.
