As per the request from CM J Jayalalithaa, major automobile companies have come forward to conduct free service camps for ten days in rain hit districts. Due to the heavy downpour in the recent monsoon, au¬tos, two and four wheelers were heavily damaged in Chennai, Kanchipuram, Tiruvallur and Cuddalore. Automobile giants TVS, India Yamaha, Bajaj and Eicher have accepted to conduct free service to all damaged vehicles from December 12th to 21st at more than 200 camps.
