CHENNAI: Early morning fog once again disrupted operations at the Chennai airport on Wednesday (February 12), causing delays for seven departing flights.

International flights to Singapore, Dubai, Bahrain, and Abu Dhabi were delayed, along with domestic flights headed to Kolkata, Port Blair, and Vijayawada.

Arriving flights were also affected, with an IndiGo flight from Singapore and one from Kuala Lumpur landing later than scheduled.

For the past week, persistent fog conditions in the early morning hours has been impacting flight schedules. However, the fog was less severe this morning, and no diversions were reported.
