DMK MLA Senthil Balaji appears before CCB in job fraud case

DMK MLA V Senthil Balaji, on Monday, appeared before the Central Crime Branch (CCB) for an inquiry in connection with a job fraud case.

He had already appeared for inquiry at the city police commissionerate, Vepery in February. The case was that he along with few other officials cheated people to the tune of Rs 2.31 crore on the promise of getting jobs in various transport corporations in the State. In September, the CCB officials summoned the MTC officials for inquiry in the case after which Senthil Balaji appeared for inquiry for the second time on Monday. Officials, when contacted, said the MLA cooperated well and responded to the queries.
