DGP Jaffar Sait made director, TNFRS, Sylendra Babu given additional charge

In the latest shuffle of IPS officers, the Tamil Nadu Government on Tuesday transferred Director-General of Police, Civil Supplies CID, MS Jaffar Sait, and posted him as DGP/Director, Fire & Rescue Services, Chennai.

DGP C Sylendra Babu has been asked to take full charge of Civil Supplies CID, which was headed by the former. A communication from the Home Department said that Sylendra Babu, DGP, Railways, Chennai, will be given additional charge of DGP, Civil Supplies CID. Till now, Sylendra Babu has been holding additional charge of TNFRS. AT Durai Kumar, Deputy Inspector General of Police (repatriation from Central deputation), has been posted as DIG, Administration.
