Priced at $10, the dosa has got the world’s hottest chilli, the ghost chilli mixed into the potato filling, served with two chutneys and sambar.
Twitter user @sailee_rk found this dosa on the quirky menu and wrote: “In Austin, people are eating Deepika Padukone as a dosa” (sic). The tweet not only garnered the attention of Deepika fans but also the star herself, who said “What a great way to begin the year…Happy New Year!”
Soon after, another fan shared one more menu, saying, “You are also a Parantha Thali in Pune.”
Her fans cannot stop sharing this thread with many commenting that they would love to try it out. Her number one fan appears to be husband Ranveer Singh, who shared the post on Instagram, with a comment saying: “I’ll eat this.”
This only goes out to prove the kind of fan-following the actress enjoys both in India and overseas. She rose to international fame after starring in XXX: Return of Xander Cage, also starring Vin Diesel.
So, next time you plan a holiday in the US, you know the dish that is going to top your food bucket list.
