Cuddalore gets Rs 23 lakh for girl education scheme

The state government has sanctioned Rs 23.04 lakh in the current year for the Beti Bachao – Beti Padhao (protect the girl child, educate the girl child) scheme in Cuddalore district to set right the unequal sex ratio, social welfare Minister Dr V Saroja announced while inaugurating a two-day conference on the above scheme in Chennai.
