Student said that the paper was lengthy and consumed more time to solve the questions. They said that questions were not straight ones, rather tweaked and complicated to crack, which made them do lot of calculations.

Noting that even one mark questions took more time to solve, Aakaash said that they found it difficult to allot more time for other sections. Students and teachers felt that it would be difficult to score full marks in Maths because of its difficulty level.

“As all our subjects earlier in the exam this year were easy, we anticipated the same difficulty level in Maths too, which did not happen. We want CBSE to provide us some kind of relief while valuating our papers as was done for Class 12,” Ajith Kumar, a student, said.

It may be pointed out that Class 12 students too witnessed a difficult maths paper and based on the feedback, CBSE announced that it would take remedial measures before evaluation.
