According to sources, Bhaskaran (26) of Mylam in Villippuram district of Tamil Nadu was working as a Physical Education teacher in a private school at Thirukkanur near here. The victim, Roshan (14), son of Umapathy of Sellippattu was a class 10 student of the school.

Bhaskaran allegedly beat Roshan for a minor problem he created in the school on March 10. 

Roshan developed swelling on his legs and he had to undergo treatment in a hospital. 

Police registered a case against Bhaskaran and are on the lookout for him.
