British Airways flight to London cancelled

A British Airways flight to London was cancelled on Sunday and the 268 passengers have been accommodated in hotels.

Airport officials said the flight was cancelled due to “technical reasons,” and the stranded passengers have been accommodated in hotels. They would be taken to London in the next flight, which is expected on Monday.

British Airways website said, “Following the major IT system failure on Saturday, we are working hard to fully restore all of our global IT systems. It further stated, “We expect further disruption, but are aiming to operate services from Heathrow and a normal schedule at Gatwick.”
