Bodies of two fishermen found in sea

Two fishermen from Pudukkottai who went missing after their country boat capsized while they were fishing mid sea were netted out on Saturday.

It is said, a crew of four fishermen who ventured 14 nautical miles off Jegathapattinam in Pudukkottai on Thursday drowned after their country boat capsized. 

They were identified as K Arumugam (32), D Villayudam (55), Sakkathu (44) and Balu (55). They tried to swim ashore. However, on Friday night, Arumugam and Villayudam managed to find a boat and reached ashore. On Saturday, the Coastal Security personnel searching for the missing two were shocked to see the fishermen trapped in the fishing nets and dead.
