BJP man held for Facebook post

Chitilapakkam police on Saturday arrested BJP national working committee member M Kalyanaraman for using social media to propagate communal hatred and for trying to disrupt communal harmony.

A suo motto case was registered against Krishnaswamy by the police following several complaints against the leader who had made inflammatory remarks against a particular religion through his Facebook account. 

Police said Kalyanaraman even after several warnings had been repeatedly posting inflammatory remarks targeting a particular religion. So, the cops initiated action based on a  complaint lodged by the Chitlapakkam sub inspector and arrested Kalyanaraman.
