Ban on star cricket: TMG

The Tamizhaga Makkal Jananayaga (TMJ) Katchi has demanded and submitted a memorandum to Chief Election Commissioner Rajesh Lakhoni to ban the forthcoming star cricket event scheduled to be held on April 17.

TMJ president Shariff met the CEC at his office and handed over the memorandum to ban the event citing it possesses opportunity to bribe voters as planned by political parties. 

Nadigar Sangam announced star cricket to use the revenue it generates to construct a building for the association.
