Police said, he had also promised his clients that he could solve family problems through black magic and witchcraft. A fingerprint astrologer who visited the house of one Rajeswari in Ellaiamman nagar on February 27 predicted some serious family problems and told her that someone had performed black magic to cause problems. 

He said he would send a ‘voodoo priest’ to detect and lift the magical spell. 

The voodoo priest who visited her house the following day has performed some weird rituals and allegedly asked the woman to hand over her gold jewellery to him. Rajeswari with the help of her neighbours handed him over to the police.
