Under the Vande Bharat mission 534 Indians touched down to Chennai from various parts of the world.

70 people from Chicago, US, with 29 being women and 5 children. 38 women and 11 kids of the 180 from Sharjah. 7 children and 38 women of Doha's 171, Abu Dhabi's 96 consisting of 3 kids and 20 women, 17 from Sri Lanka.

Vande Bharat mission has brought more than 50,000 Indians as yet.

Swab and blood tests from the 534 people were taken at the airport and were sent to quarantine in hotels and medical colleges.
