30 IPS officers transferred across Tamil Nadu

Thirty IPS officers were transferred in a major shuffle, while four officers were inducted as Assistant Superintendents.

E Sai Charan Tejaswi, Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Pulianthope, has been transferred and posted as SP of Theni, while S Rajesh Kannan, ASP (Sriperumpudur), was posted in his place.


Nagapattinam SP TK Rajasekaran has been posted as the DC (Traffic-Chennai North), while C Shyamaladevi, who is occupying the post now, has been transferred and posted as SP for Tamil Nadu Commando Force, Chennai. M Vijayalakshmi who was holding that post has been transferred as Assistant IG of Social Justice and Human Rights wing in Chennai. Ashish Rawat, ASP of Cheranmadevi, has been promoted as SP and posted as Commandant of Tamil Nadu Special Force (8th battalion) in New Delhi, while E Karthik, ASP, Colochel, has been promoted as SP and posted Deputy Commissioner (Law and Order) for Madurai city. C Kalaiselvan, SP, The Nilgiris district has been transferred to Chennai and posted as SP of NIB-CID.
