2,286 students secure hospitality jobs in one go

At a stretch, 2,286 students of Chennai’s Amirta International Institute of Hotel Management have secured positions in the hospitality industry and set an employment record

The institute had recently conducted a job fair at its campus where 160 Star Properties of Chennai, Karur, Bengaluru, and Mumbai participated. Reputed hotels like ITC Grand Chola, Taj Group, Hyatt Regency, The Park, Accord Metropolitan, Fortune Group, Radisson Blu, Clarks Exoctica Bangalore, Kohinoor Asiana, Ramada, Confluence, Feathers, Turyaa, GRT Grand, Somerset Greenways, and MGM Resorts, offered jobs to students who are in their final year of studies. 

Students across various streams of Hotel Management including Diploma in Hospitality Management; Diploma in Hotel Management; Advanced Professional Diploma in Hotel Management & Catering Science; Diploma in Food Production; B.Sc (Catering Science & Hotel Management); participated in the job fair. 

“This is a first-of-its-kind experience in the country witnessing participation of numerous star hotels in a job fair conducted by a single institute,” said R. Boominathan, CEO of the institute.
