14-year-old boy escapes from abductors

A 14-year-old class 9 student had a narrow escape from a duo who tried to kidnap the boy on Tuesday. Sources said that Gokulnath (14) was returning home from the school, when two unidentified persons approached him and told him that his grandmother was in a serious condition.

But, the boy refused to believe them as he had never seen them before. Sensing that the boy would slip away, the kidnappers threatened with a knife and asked to come with them.

When they took him to the bus stand, two persons, who appeared like policemen, alighted from the bus. On seeing them, the abductor duo took to their heels and the boy had a narrow escape. 

Then, Gokulnath called his parents from a PCO and told them about his encounter with the unidentified duo.
