Sundram Fasteners Limited nets Rs 71.07 cr in Q2-FY20

The net profit of SFL (standalone) for the quarter ended September 30, 2019 was at Rs 71.07 cr, as against Rs 110.66 cr during the same period in the previous year. Revenue from the operations of SFL for the quarter ended September 30, 2019 was at Rs 766.82 cr as against Rs 998.62 cr during the same period in the previous year, a decrease of 23.2%. Due to the drop in industry volumes, the domestic sales was also lower at Rs 450.01 cr as against Rs 631.59 cr during the same period in the previous year. The export sales for the quarter ended was at Rs 290.88 cr as against Rs 334.76 cr during the same period in the previous year. The earnings before interest, depreciation and taxes (EBITDA) for the quarter ended September 30, 2019 was at Rs 145.35 cr as against Rs 199.35 crores during the same period in the previous year. The net profit of SFL (standalone) for the quarter ended September 30, 2019 was at Rs 71.07 cr as against Rs 110.66 cr during the same period in the previous year, a decrease of 35.8%.
