Grinntech in MoU with TN, Rs 100 cr outlay planned

Grinntech, an IIT-M Research Park incubated startup engaged in lithium-ion batteries, is holding talks with original equipment manufacturers to supply batteries and related systems.

Grinntech recently signed a MoU with the TN government to establish a battery and battery management system-manufacturing facility in the state to serve e-vehicles. It plans an outlay of almost Rs 100 cr for R&D, product development and production facilities leading to jobs for 250 staff over the next five years, a release said.
