According to a Jipmer statement, Dr Saka Vinod Kumar, Officer In-charge Department of Dietetics, emphasised the functioning of the Dietetics department and the nutritious values in the food served to patients of Jipmer in his address. Dr S C Parija, Director-JIPMER inaugurated the exhibition on ‘Healthy Breakfast Dietary cuisine’ and released the diabetic diet pamphlets. He stressed the importance of diet in managing diabetes in his inaugural address.
