Sivaratri: 40,000 litres of holy Ganga water to be used for 3,000 Sivan temples in Karnataka

Ahead of Sivaratri, 40,000 litres of holy Ganga water has been brought from Haridwar to Bangalore for Lord Siva's abhishegam in 3,000 Sivan temples.

Maharishi Anand Guruji performed a special pooja for the vehicles that carried the holy water to Bangalore.

Ganga water is very special to Lord Siva. Maharishi Anand Guruji stated that, people of the country will gain good benefits by performing abhishegam to Lord Siva with holy Ganga water.
