A young crab and his mother were spending the day on a beach’s warm sand. The young crab begins to walk around, but could only walk sideways in either direction. The mother crab scolds him and tells him to point his toes in front of him and walk forwards. 

The young crab explains that he would love to walk forward, but he doesn’t know how to do it. He asks his mother to show him. The mother crab then gets up and tries to walk forward, but she too can only walk sideways. She sheepishly apologises and lays back down in the sand.

Moral: When you are in a position of leadership you may not always have the opportunity to lead by example, but youshould do it as often as you can. Nobody likes it when you demand they do something you can’t do.
